This sounds like a very useful add-on. The only thing that is preventing me from using it is that I have all my Thunderbird addresses organized into various address books: family, friends, work, clients, etc. And I filter all my incoming mails to be tagged (family=green, work=orange, etc) via "if sender is in family address book then tag green". Since Thunderbird cannot filter by mailing list and the add-on only synchronizes to mailing lists and not to address books, I cannot use it. :-(

Is there a plan to also synchronize to address books?

BTW: Is there a Thunderbird bug to allow filtering by mailing list?
